API Engineering LeadJob Overview:As an API Engineering Lead, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and operating our Enterprise AI platform.You will collaborate with architecture, development, security, and DevOps teams to build a scalable, secure, and robust API ecosystem using IBM's API management technologies.The ideal candidate will have expertise in API Connect, DataPower gateways, or equivalent API management platforms, as well as experience with API governance policies, API gateways, and developer portals.Main Responsibilities:Designing and building APIs using IBM API Connect, DataPower gateways, or equivalent API management platformsDefining API governance policies, including authentication/authorization, rate limits, quotas, versioning, and lifecycle managementManaging the API gateway, including routing, transformation, orchestration, protocol mediation, and traffic controlSetting up and maintaining the developer portal, including publishing APIs, onboarding internal/external consumers, documentation, and self-service subscriptionMonitoring API usage, performance, latency, and error metrics; analyzing usage patterns and production issuesHandling API security and resilience, including secure back-end integrations, payload validation, threat mitigation, and high-availabilityAbout Us:We are committed to delivering innovative solutions that drive business value.
