Job Title: Manager / Sr. Manager - Machine Maintenance

Department: Machine Maintenance

Reports to: Maintenance Head.


Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Manager/Sr. Manager of Machine Maintenance to oversee the maintenance operations for our manufacturing equipment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience (12+ years) in machine maintenance, with a background in mechanical, electrical, or electronics engineering (BE or Diploma) and a strong focus on the solar module industry. As the manager, you will lead a team to ensure the reliability, efficiency, and optimal performance of machinery in a fast-paced production environment.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance Management: Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of maintenance activities for machinery in the production area.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and guide a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring high levels of performance, safety, and efficiency.
  • Equipment Troubleshooting: Oversee troubleshooting, diagnostics, and resolution of complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues related to manufacturing equipment.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure optimal machine performance.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Conduct root cause analysis of recurring machine failures and implement corrective actions to improve system reliability.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company safety standards, legal regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Budget Management: Monitor and manage the maintenance budget, including spare parts inventory, tool procurement, and other maintenance-related expenses.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with production and engineering teams to minimize equipment downtime and meet production targets.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, machine performance, and downtime reports, and provide regular updates to senior management.


Qualifications:

  • Education: BE or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE), or Electronics & Communication (EC).
  • Experience: Minimum of 12 years of hands-on experience in machine maintenance, ideally within the manufacturing or production industry. Experience in the solar module industry is strongly preferred.
  • Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of machine maintenance processes and troubleshooting techniques. Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and automation systems. Experience with predictive and preventive maintenance tools and techniques.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, manage, and motivate maintenance teams. Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to think critically and implement solutions quickly in a dynamic environment.
