Data Governance ExpertWe are seeking a seasoned Data Governance professional to drive the development and implementation of enterprise-level data governance initiatives across multiple business domains. This role focuses on establishing comprehensive governance frameworks, facilitating business workshops, and partnering with technology teams to operationalize governance using specialized tools and platforms.Key Responsibilities:Design, implement, and institutionalize data governance frameworks, policies, and processes across business units.Conduct business workshops with enterprise clients to define governance objectives, roles, and ownership models.Establish and formalize the Data Governance Council – document charters, roles, responsibilities, and governance operating models.Collaborate with data engineering, architecture, and security teams to implement governance controls using platforms such as Microsoft Purview, Databricks Unity Catalog, and Informatica.Drive AI governance by implementing and monitoring AI governance principles ensuring compliance, ethical AI use, and adherence to organizational policies.Ensure all governance processes align with Microsoft Security and Compliance Frameworks, regulatory standards, and enterprise risk guidelines.Requirements:Strong experience in Data Governance, Data Management, or Information Governance within enterprise environments.Proven ability to conduct governance business workshops and translate outcomes into actionable governance models.Experience in establishing and operationalizing governance councils and defining data ownership structures.Hands-on exposure to governance tools and technologies such as Microsoft Purview, Databricks Unity Catalog, and Informatica.Deep understanding of Microsoft's Security and Compliance Framework and its relevance to data governance.Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.Demonstrated experience working across multiple industries.Ability to bridge functional and technical aspects of governance and influence cross-functional teams.Benefits:We offer a competitive compensation package, health benefits, company-sponsored certifications, training programs, and skill-building opportunities to help you succeed.
