The role of a Business Intelligence Analyst involves creating risk reporting for business and risk teams. This includes developing foundational skills in understanding data, its products, and portfolios, as well as deepening knowledge of data infrastructure and analytical tools to conduct risk analysis.Key responsibilities include partnering with the analytical community to ensure data availability, collaborating with commercial engagement teams, lines of business, and risk functions to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and key risk indicators (KRIs), and leveraging SQL and Python to query existing data and run analysis on data and models.Additionally, the analyst will develop dashboards and packaged reporting for delivery to key stakeholders, monitor KPI/KRI universes, set standards for reporting, pair reporting with business activities to provide context and meaning, and prepare reporting for management with strategic recommendations and action plans.Automation of reporting using Tableau and other tools is also required. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 2+ years of analytics experience, and working knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau.In this role, you will be responsible for extracting insights from large datasets, identifying trends and patterns, and presenting findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design and implement solutions, and deliver high-quality results.To succeed in this position, you will need to have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication and collaboration abilities, and a passion for working with data.
