Job Title: Electrical Systems EngineerAbout the Position:We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team. This role is key in designing and developing high-quality, reliable, and efficient electrical systems for Data Centers.This position requires international travel to Portugal and a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field. Proficiency in English (mandatory) with other languages an advantage.Key Responsibilities:Design and Develop: Design and develop electrical systems for Data Centers, including power distribution, grounding, lighting, and standby power.System Analysis: Perform power system analysis (short circuit, load flow, arc flash, protection coordination) using ETAP.Collaboration: Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, civil, architectural) to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.Documentation: Prepare detailed design documentation, specifications, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs).Support: Support commissioning teams and respond to RFIs during construction phases.Continuous Learning: Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in mission-critical power systems.Required Skills and Qualifications:Proficient in ETAP, EPLAN, Revit, DIALux, and strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards (NEC, IEC, IEEE, NFPA 70E).Familiarity with Tier classifications (Uptime Institute) and redundancy concepts (N, N+1, 2N).Experience in mission-critical environments (data centers, telecom, hospitals, etc.).Exposure to HV/MV substations, switchgear layouts, and BMS integration.Benefits:Droisys offers a diverse work environment with opportunities for career growth and professional development.
