Financial Data Analyst PositionThe Financial Data Analyst plays a key role in supporting business decision-making by analyzing financial data, creating reports and forecasts, and providing insights to management.This role works closely with finance, accounting, and leadership teams to ensure accurate budgeting, planning, and financial performance tracking.Key Responsibilities:Analyze financial statements, cash flow, and performance metrics to provide actionable recommendations.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to stakeholders.Monitor key financial indicators and provide timely updates to the management team.Budgeting & ForecastingAssist in developing annual budgets and financial forecasts to support business strategy.Track budget variances and provide explanations for deviations from expected outcomes.Support scenario planning and financial modeling to inform business decisions.Data Modeling & InsightsBuild and maintain financial models using Excel, Power BI, and Tableau to analyze trends and patterns.Interpret data to identify opportunities for business improvement and provide recommendations.Conduct cost-benefit and ROI analyses to inform investment decisions.Business SupportCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial inputs and provide analytical support.Provide expertise on financial matters to support strategic initiatives, investments, and projects.Review financial performance of departments and products to identify areas for improvement.Compliance & DocumentationEnsure adherence to GAAP and company policies related to financial practices.Prepare documentation for audits and regulatory requirements.Maintain accurate and organized financial records to support audit trails.Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.Strong proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and Macros.Experience with financial modeling and forecasting.Familiarity with ERP systems and Business Intelligence tools.Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
