We are seeking a highly experienced senior data architect to design and implement robust, scalable, and high-performance data architectures that support our enterprise data initiatives.The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills to manage multiple data projects, provide technical guidance to data engineering teams, and participate in pre-sales activities such as developing technical proposals, responding to RFPs, creating SOWs and estimations, and presenting solutions to senior leadership and customer stakeholders.Key responsibilities include:Architecting end-to-end data solutions using modern cloud data platforms, especially Microsoft Fabric and Azure Synapse Analytics.Leading the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple data projects, ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines, and quality standards.Designing and developing Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, and Lakehouses following Medallion architecture principles.Defining and implementing data ingestion pipelines from diverse sources.Overseeing the development of ETL/ELT processes, ensuring scalability, performance, and reusability.Collaborating with business analysts, data engineers, and BI developers to understand requirements and translate them into robust technical designs.Driving data quality, lineage, cataloging, and governance best practices.Collaborating with DevOps teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments using Azure DevOps.Providing guidance and mentorship to junior architects and data engineers.Evaluating and recommending tools, technologies, and frameworks to support data strategies.
