Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Cat Modeling Analyst (Insurance) located in Bengaluru, with some work from home permissible. The Cat Modeling Analyst will be responsible for analyzing catastrophe risk, developing and maintaining catastrophe models, performing data analytics, and supporting finance teams with risk assessments. The role involves using statistical methods to model and evaluate potential insurance losses due to natural hazards, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and providing insights to inform business decisions. Qualifications Strong Analytical Skills and Data Analytics skillsProficiency in Statistics and Statistical ModelingExperience in Finance and understanding of financial concepts related to insurance riskBachelor's degree in a related field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Finance, or a similar disciplineStrong problem-solving abilities and attention to detailExcellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work environmentPrior experience in the insurance industry or catastrophe modeling is a plus
