Operational Excellence Manager Job SummaryThe Operational Excellence Manager will drive excellence in operations, maintain quality standards, and optimize production. This role oversees all plant operations, including production, maintenance, engineering, quality, supply chain, and safety.Key Responsibilities:Lead plant operations to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing with optimized machine efficiency.Oversee production planning aligned with customer demand and global business priorities.Quality Assurance & Compliance:Ensure compliance with ISO standards and industry-specific quality norms.Maintain product consistency and quality levels required for domestic and export markets.Safety, Health & Environment (EHS):Enforce compliance with national environmental laws and promote a safety-first culture.Implement global EHS standards, including hazard control and waste management.People Leadership & Development:Lead, mentor, and develop cross-functional teams.Drive a performance-driven culture with clear goals and continuous training.Engineering & Maintenance:Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs for all plant equipment.Manage plant upgrades and new line installations to ensure optimal uptime.Supply Chain & Inventory Management:Oversee procurement, vendor management, and inventory levels to reduce working capital.Optimize logistics to ensure timely availability of raw materials.Cost & Budget Management:Drive cost optimization initiatives across energy, manpower, wastage, and logistics.Prepare and monitor annual budgets to achieve profitability targets.Compliance & Government Liaison:Ensure compliance with labor regulations and liaison with local authorities.Strategic Planning & Continuous Improvement:Lead continuous improvement programs, including Lean, Kaizen, and Six Sigma.Support new product development and automation initiatives.
