Manager - Wind-Resource-Assessment (WRA)


Work Location: Pune / Mumbai / Gurugram / Bangalore / Ahmedabad


Job Description

  • Fully accountable and responsible for EYA Assignment Execution
  • Analysis and development of meteorological files and assumptions for inclusion in modelling tools.
  • Forecasting long-term resource using measure-correlate-predict methods and other regression models.
  • Development of annual and long-term wind energy assessments, using various modelling tools.
  • Development of uncertainty analyses using statistical and pragmatic approaches to determine probabilistic energy production forecasts.
  • Analysis of energy production data from wind projects, including comparison of operating vs. modeled data, downtime analyses, and various other comparative analyses using quantitative data analysis techniques.
  • Review and provide comments on resource assessments and energy estimates provided by other consultants.
  • Keeping record of software AMC, Technical Support etc.
  • Technical report writing.
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals including scope of services, schedule and budgeting Project management"
  • Supporting Businesses in new service development
  • Experience utilizing WindFarmer, WAsP, WindPRO or other wind energy modeling tools.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Comprehensive understanding of wind flow principles,
  • Aptitude in the statistical analysis of data including relevant tools and software,
  • Fluency in related wind simulation software.


Education

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics
  • Experience in 8 to 12 Years in Wind-Resource-Assessment, Wind farmer, WASP, Windpro, Wasp, Wind Energy, Wind Power.
