Radiation Safety SpecialistThe primary objective of this role is to ensure radiation safety across all radiology and imaging systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and monitoring radiation safety protocols, conducting radiation surveys and leakage testing, and maintaining records of radiation exposure.Key Responsibilities:Develop and enforce radiation safety policies and procedures in accordance with AERB guidelines.Conduct regular radiation surveys and leakage testing to ensure workplace and personnel safety.Maintain accurate records of radiation exposure and ensure compliance with prescribed AERB safety limits.Regulatory Compliance and Licensing:Coordinate AERB licensing for the manufacturing, installation, and servicing of X-Ray, C-Arm, DR, and CT systems.Prepare and submit documentation required for AERB, NABL, and ISO 13485 compliance.Liaise with regulatory authorities for approvals, renewals, audits, and inspections.Requirements and Qualifications:B.E. / B.Tech/Diploma in Electronics or Biomedical Engineering.AERB-certified Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) certification.Minimum 3 years of experience in QA Test, radiation safety, compliance, or regulatory management within a radiology or medical imaging equipment manufacturing environment.Sound knowledge of AERB, NABL, ISO 13485, and BIS 13450 standards.Hands-on experience with X-Ray, C-Arm, DR, and CT assemblies and testing setups preferred.
