We are seeking a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and solution-driven Accounts Executive to join our rapidly growing team. The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter with a strong sense of integrity, accountability, and a focus on optimizing financial performance and processes. Expertise in payroll management, including CTC, compensation, Provident Fund (PF), Gratuity, and other employee-related accounts, is essential. This role will primarily involve overseeing payroll processing, ensuring accurate calculations for CTC and compensation, and managing employee benefits such as PF, Gratuity, and other related accounts. The Accounts Executive will also be responsible for financial reporting and collaborating with various departments to ensure accurate, efficient, and compliant financial operations. Experience: 1-3 years


Responsibilities:


  • Payroll Management: Own and manage the end-to-end monthly payroll process for employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all applicable laws.
  • Financial Reporting in a Manufacturing Entity: The candidate is responsible for obtaining a comprehensive understanding of financial reporting as per Schedule III of the Companies Act, 2013, and based on the Company's nature of Business. The candidate must also understand the Chart of Accounts and general ledger structure and prepare and manage monthly accounts receivable invoicing.
  • Month-End & Year-End Closes: Led the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and timely report preparation by generally accepted accounting principles (I-GAAP).
  • General Ledger: Conduct regular general ledger reviews to ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Vendor Payments & Invoicing: Validate and process vendor invoices and promptly prepare payments, bills, and other invoices.
  • Accounts Reconciliation: Support the accounts receivable process by ensuring proper payment posting and reconciliation and reviewing accounts to confirm accuracy.
  • Financial Analysis: Help prepare financial schedules and variance commentary for management accounts and operational results.
  • Record Maintenance: Maintain and update records for profit & loss, taxes, liabilities, and assets.
  • Reporting & Audits: Generate financial reports and support internal and external audit processes.


What We Are Looking For:


  • Education: A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce is highly preferred.
  • Must have prior experience working in a Manufacturing Company
  • Prior Experience in handling finance and accounts responsibility on your own
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in fast-paced, dynamic environments like start-ups or small companies.
  • Payroll Expertise: Hands-on experience managing the complete payroll process independently.
  • Labor Law Knowledge: Strong understanding of current labor laws, compliance requirements, and statutory obligations. Experience working with labor department officials is a plus.
  • Statutory Compliance: Knowledge of PF, Income Tax, PT, Gratuity, and other payroll-related statutory compliances.

  • Proactive, results-oriented, and innovative, able to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Highly detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).

  • Hands-on Experience with accounting systems like Zoho Books and integration with new platforms.
  • Familiarity with Indian GAAP and accounting/tax preparation standards.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel and Word.
