Procurement Technology SpecialistThis role involves collaboration with stakeholders and colleagues to achieve business goals.Key Responsibilities:Establish partnerships with key clients and colleagues to drive defined business objectives.Maintain a matrix of key client stakeholders per category/location and engage regularly to enhance client satisfaction.Ensure effective supplier relationship management for assigned suppliers.Act as the primary contact person for IT procurement with expertise on one of the sub-categories (HW, SW, SaaS, Network, Telecom, Co-lo) and procurement initiatives.Strategic Procurement Planning:Analyze spend and contracts to identify procurement opportunities and cost reductions.Formulate category-specific cost/license/service models to meet business needs.Collaborate with stakeholders and colleagues to define and implement IT strategies and procurement area plans globally and regionally.Initiative Management:Lead and execute IT procurement projects from start to finish within agreed timelines and service quality standards.Deliver allocated savings targets through effective initiative management, with proper tracking and reporting of savings achievements.Adhere to defined procurement policies and processes.Maintain a high level of ethics in supplier/client engagements.Support Services:Provide procurement subject matter expertise and solutions to support stakeholder engagements/pitches.Support procurement planning and execution across a dynamic multi-stakeholder environment.
