Job Title: Payroll SpecialistRole Overview:This role is responsible for overseeing the full cycle of payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience working with payroll systems.Key Responsibilities:Process multi-state payroll for salaried and hourly employeesMaintain payroll records, ensure compliance with EEO, FMLA, COBRA, and other employment regulationsPrepare and submit payroll tax filings (941, state/local) and lead year-end processes including W-2 and 1095-C coordinationReconcile payroll general ledger entries, support month-end close, financial reporting, and internal/external auditsDocument and maintain payroll procedures to comply with internal controls and audit standardsStay current with employment and payroll laws, ensure company policies remain compliantQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Accounting, or related fieldFive (5) or more years of payroll experience, with a focus on payroll administration and benefits coordinationDemonstrated experience managing multi-state payroll in a professional services or high-growth environment; experience supporting 1,000+ employees preferredRequirements:Strong understanding of payroll laws and regulationsExperience with payroll GL reconciliations, audits, and year-end processingProficiency with MS Office Suite; intermediate to advanced Excel skills requiredExcellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work collaboratively with all levels of the organizationHighly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentAbout You:Self-starter with the ability to work independently and virtually; demonstrates initiative and accountabilityHR or payroll certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP, CPP) preferredBenefits:Competitive compensation packageOpportunities for professional growth and developmentCollaborative and dynamic work environmentHow to Apply:If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for payroll, please submit your application today],
