About the RoleWe are seeking a talented Data Scientist to join our risk strategy team.The ideal candidate will leverage their creative and critical thinking skills to develop best-in-class risk management strategies that have a meaningful impact on our clients' business.These strategies will support our clients' credit and fraud risk, customer experience, marketing verticals, and beyond.Develop, validate, and deploy risk management strategies using a combination of sophisticated data analytics and domain expertiseExtract and explore data, validate data integrity, perform ad hoc analysis, evaluate new data sources for usage in strategy developmentMaintain robust documentation of approach and techniques used; including objectives, assumptions, performance, weaknesses, and limitationsBe ready to adapt to new tools/libraries/technologies/platformsActively partner with engineers to validate & deploy scalable solutionsCollaborate to gather insight from partners across the organizationRequirementsDegree in a quantitative field (e.g., computer science, data science, engineering, economics, mathematics, etc.). Advanced degree preferred3+ years of Data Science experience2+ years in financial servicesExperience building and implementing risk strategies in productionDeep understanding of segmentation techniques such as decision treesExperience in banking sector with exposure to risk management analyticsProficient with PythonProficient with SQLPractical experience using Spark is a plusUnderstanding of statistical modeling techniques is a plusTechnical understanding of algorithm complexity, probability & statisticsSelf-driven with an aptitude for independent research & problem-solvingAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced environment is essentialWhat You'll BringYou will bring your passion for innovation, creativity, and analytical thinking to drive business growth.
