Job Title: Structural Design SpecialistThe Structural Design Specialist plays a vital role in designing, analyzing, and overseeing the construction of structural elements within food and beverage manufacturing facilities.Designs and reviews structural components for new facilities, expansions, and equipment installations to ensure adherence to industry standards and local regulations.Performs detailed structural analysis and load calculations for buildings, mezzanines, pipe racks, and utility supports.Prepares and validates construction drawings, specifications, and BOQs in coordination with civil and architectural teams to guarantee accuracy and quality.Ensures compliance with local building codes, food industry standards, and safety regulations through rigorous audits and inspections.Conducts site inspections to monitor construction quality and adherence to design specifications.Collaborates with project managers, equipment vendors, and contractors during planning and execution phases to achieve project goals.Supports feasibility studies, cost estimation, and risk assessments for structural scopes to inform business decisions.Maintains accurate documentation for audits, approvals, and internal governance.Requires 5-10 years of experience in structural design and construction within food, beverage, or FMCG manufacturing. Proficient in STAAD.Pro, AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Project. Strong analytical, design, and project coordination skills; knowledge of hygiene and food-grade construction practices is beneficial.Key Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field.Proven track record of delivering structural design projects on time and within budget.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
