Tech Lead


Location: Bangalore | Experience: 5–7 years | Reports to: Founder / CPTO


What you will do:


  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of our core technology stack (React, Node.js, Python for AI/ML, MySQL, GCP/AWS microservices).
  • Build scalable solutions for multi-source data ingestion (APIs, email parsing, document processing, manual uploads) and high-performance dashboards.
  • Own product releases end-to-end—usability, optimization, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with Product, Business, and Design teams to translate financial use-cases into robust, user-friendly platforms.
  • Drive code quality through reviews, testing, monitoring, and CI/CD best practices.
  • Mentor and scale a high-performing engineering team; foster a culture of ownership, speed, and innovation.
  • Manage system reliability, security, and compliance (crucial in fintech).


What We Are Looking For:

  • 5 – 6 years of software engineering experience preferably with at least 1+ years managing engineering teams.
  • Strong foundations in backend, algorithms, distributed systems, and system design.
  • Hands-on expertise with React, Node.js, MySQL, Python (ML/AI).
  • Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and microservices architecture.
  • Proven ability to ship products in ambiguous, fast-paced startup environments.

Have a problem-solving mindset – comfortable navigating ambiguity, simplifying complexity, and finding elegant solutions to tough technical and product challenges.Bring a builder’s DNA – someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves to design and build systems from scratch, while laying the foundation for long-term scale and security.Be a team architect – not just writing code, but also hiring, mentoring, and shaping a high-performance engineering team and culture.Balance hands-on coding and strategic leadership – able to dive deep technically when needed, while also influencing product and business outcomes.


Good to Have

  • Experience building data platforms for financial services (portfolio management, risk analytics, CRM, reporting).
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks in finance / family office wealth -tech.
  • Comfort with scaling from 0→1→100: building MVPs, then scaling to enterprise-grade systems.
