Tech Lead Location: Bangalore | Experience: 5–7 years | Reports to: Founder / CPTO What you will do: Lead the design, development, and deployment of our core technology stack (React, Node.js, Python for AI/ML, My SQL, GCP/AWS microservices). Build scalable solutions for multi-source data ingestion (APIs, email parsing, document processing, manual uploads) and high-performance dashboards. Own product releases end-to-end—usability, optimization, and reliability. Collaborate with Product, Business, and Design teams to translate financial use-cases into robust, user-friendly platforms. Drive code quality through reviews, testing, monitoring, and CI/CD best practices. Mentor and scale a high-performing engineering team; foster a culture of ownership, speed, and innovation. Manage system reliability, security, and compliance (crucial in fintech). What We Are Looking For: 5 – 6 years of software engineering experience preferably with at least 1+ years managing engineering teams . Strong foundations in backend, algorithms, distributed systems, and system design . Hands-on expertise with React, Node.js, My SQL, Python (ML/AI). Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and microservices architecture. Proven ability to ship products in ambiguous, fast-paced startup environments . Ideal Candidate Profile: We’re looking for a builder who thrives in a 0→1 environment. The right person will be high on agency – proactive, resourceful, and able to take full ownership of problems without waiting for direction. Have a problem-solving mindset – comfortable navigating ambiguity, simplifying complexity, and finding elegant solutions to tough technical and product challenges. Bring a builder’s DNA – someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves to design and build systems from scratch, while laying the foundation for long-term scale and security. Be a team architect – not just writing code, but also hiring, mentoring, and shaping a high-performance engineering team and culture. Balance hands-on coding and strategic leadership – able to dive deep technically when needed, while also influencing product and business outcomes. Good to Have Experience building data platforms for financial services (portfolio management, risk analytics, CRM, reporting). Familiarity with regulatory frameworks in finance / family office wealth -tech. Comfort with scaling from 0→1→100 : building MVPs, then scaling to enterprise-grade systems.
