Role Summary

Business Compliance

Develop and implement an effective compliance framework, and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide compliance guidance and support in the development of business processes, and services. Manage and respond to notices and inspections, ensuring timely and appropriate resolution. Address client queries regarding compliance-related matters, providing detailed and comprehensive responses in a timely manner. Run a continuous training & education program to internal team to keep them appraised on the latest processes and policies. Work with work dynamics risk and assurance lead to leverage best practices and procedures in PDS India to strengthen governance process. Do a regular audit of processes and report findings to Head of Commercial Operations Collect relevant data and information from project teams and other stakeholders to compile accurate and comprehensive compliance status reports. Prepare reports that effectively convey compliance status and present the report for senior management review.

Core Competency/Skill

Has a good understanding of compliance requirement (e.g. labour law, PF/ESI, migrant workers act etc) related to project management/construction management A person with high ethical standard and Integrity. Strong communicator, able to advise and influence senior stakeholders and SMEs across a diverse range of topics. Always wanting to improve process and be the “go to person” for all levels of staff to provide mentorship and value add advice. Highly detailed and always “leading by example” your commitment to successful change is long term and consistent. Drive any internal projects with the same discipline, tools, and rigor as an external project to ensure objectives and timelines are met or exceeded. Critical Analysis Can critically review risk, financial, contract, and sales information. Provides constructive and relevant feedback and advice, shares learnings from comparable situations.

  Teamwork & Communication

An enthusiastic and positive collaborator, able to work effectively as part of a distributed team regionally & globally and partner with colleagues across diverse functions. Always reviewing process and raising innovative solutions to improve efficiency while reducing risk via new / revisions to policy, process, procedures, and enhancement to digital platforms.

Experience

7 to 8 years of experience in labour laws, operations audit, risk, and governance. A person having law degree is preferred. Very strong in documentations Good understanding of real estate industry is an added advantage. Experience working/collaborating with Business Leadership, Operations, Legal, Risk, Finance, and HR professionals.
