Job OverviewThe Merchandiser is responsible for overseeing the entire order lifecycle, from initial client inquiries to final shipment. This entails sourcing and procuring materials, components, and accessories, as well as coordinating production teams to ensure efficient and timely delivery.Key Responsibilities:Order Execution: Manage orders from start to finishSourcing and Procurement: Identify and procure necessary materials and componentsProduction Coordination: Ensure smooth production processes and communicate with teamsCommunication and Negotiation: Maintain clear communication with buyers, suppliers, and internal teamsDocumentation and Record Keeping: Keep accurate records of orders, materials, and production detailsAdditional Responsibilities:Product Development: Assist in product development, including material sourcing and costingInventory Management: Manage inventory levels and optimize stock turnoverSales Forecasting: Implement merchandise plans, including sales forecasting and budget planningCustomer Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with buyers and channel partnersRequirementsTo succeed in this role, you will need strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. You should be able to work effectively under pressure and maintain a high level of productivity while managing multiple tasks.A successful candidate will have experience in a similar role, preferably in the retail or manufacturing industry.
