We seek a Founding Backend Engineer who can architect the core decision engine's context layer, which serves as the sensory system that determines how our system perceives the world.The chosen candidate will own the infrastructure that fuses rigid financial data with unstructured signals. They will design and maintain the canonical data models that standardize conflicting metrics across disparate sources, mapping data from ad platforms like Meta and Google, MMPs like AppsFlyer, first-party data and internal actions into a single unified language for our models.Responsibilities:Design and maintain the universal data model that standardizes chaotic inputs from ad platforms, MMPs, first-party data, and internal actions into a rigid and queryable schema.Build deep integrations with enterprise data warehouses like Snowflake, Databricks, and Redshift to ingest high-fidelity signals directly from the source.Integrate unstructured data and Large Language Models (LLMs) by building workflows that scrape and process multimodal data from ad libraries and social platforms, structuring chaos into quantitative inputs.Architect the observer framework that records every state change, capturing every internal decision and external market shift in our standardized schema for causal analysis.Ideal CandidateOur ideal candidate is a systems thinker with 4+ years of experience building high-throughput backend systems in Python, Go, or Java. They should be comfortable moving between SQL, NoSQL, and message queues, handling data that arrives in different shapes, sizes, and speeds.Key qualities include intellectual honesty, the ability to diagnose problems, and ship fixes without needing a ticket.
