Role Description

This is a full-time permanent role for an SAP Project Manager at VC ERP Consulting.

The SAP Project Manager will be responsible for customer engagements, overseeing project implementations & various delivery models, managing business processes, and utilizing analytical skills to ensure successful plant maintenance and technology infrastructure upgrades.


Qualifications

  • Overall 10-15 years of SAP delivery experience
  • SAP Project Management and Project Implementation skills
  • Hands of experience with ASAP / ACTIVATE / Migration methodology with exposure to Rise with SAP / Grow with SAP
  • Ability to present SAP S/4HANA Solution across various modules
  • Hands on experience with business processes expertise workshops & proven industry knowledge
  • Familiarity with Cloud ALM
  • Experience in Consulting in any of the core SAP ERP modules (Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing etc.)
  • Strong understanding of technology Infrastructure, SAP system landscapes
  • Excellent customer engagement, verbal & written communication and leadership abilities
  • Escalation / Expectations management
  • Good to have other SAP / Non-SAP Solutions like HRMS, CRM, Distribution
  • Good to have other SAP solutions like - BW4/HANA, SAP BTP, Ariba, SuccessFactors, Integrations
  • Relevant certifications in SAP or project management
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or related field
  • Long term vision


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead SAP implementation projects, including project planning, resource allocation, and timeline management, up to date customer engagement, communications, escalation / expectation management
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure projects are delivered within budget constraints.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, and operations, to ensure alignment and integration of SAP solutions.
  • Resolve on-ground issues, provide consulting, solution in SAP.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Run Steering committee meetings with customer team, prepare full scale project progress reports, tickets, issues, additional scope, risks, mitigation plans
  • Ensure and maintain high quality solution documentation, knowledge base throughout the project
  • Provide regular project updates to senior management and stakeholders, including status reports, risk assessments, and change requests.
  • Ensure adherence to project management best practices, methodologies, and quality standards.
  • Assist in Pre-sales engagement, activities, scope of work / proposals
  • Coaching / Mentoring SAP delivery teams from time to time and build leaders for tomorrow
  • Contribute to refining delivery methodology, internal trainings, training curriculum / schedule
  • Contribute to IDEATHON for innovation / product idea
