Job duties include but aren't limited to:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the offshore SAP team, ensuring optimal performance, collaboration, and continuous development.
  • Oversee the successful execution of SAP projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for onshore teams, stakeholders, and clients, providing regular updates on project status, challenges, and solutions.
  • Assign appropriate resources to projects, manage work schedules, and ensure the availability of required infrastructure for the SAP team.
  • Implement and oversee quality control measures, ensuring all SAP deliverables meet the required standards and business expectations.
  • Proactively identify potential risks in projects and offshore operations and devise strategies for mitigation.
  • Ensure that the team stays updated with the latest SAP tools, modules, and best practices through continuous learning and training sessions.
  • Monitor and control the budget for offshore SAP operations, optimizing costs without compromising quality.
  • Continually assess and refine processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance the productivity and efficiency of the offshore SAP team.


Required Skills and Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in SAP, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Prior experience in managing offshore teams or working in an offshore-onshore mode within the United States is a must.
  • A deep understanding of SAP modules, tools, and best practices.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience in cross-cultural and remote team management.
