The team has presence in North America and India and work on a highly complex environment and product suite. The team works on a leveraged support model and is responsible for network stability on the Mainframe across multiple datacenters. If you are keen to work and solve problems on complex setup, develop, build your career on Mainframe network skills, and learn along the way then this is the right team and place you would want to be.What you will be doing:Configuration and support of connectivity within the mainframe environment and external networksAssigned to highly visible, sensitive and critical systems.Gathering documentation for research and problem resolution of z/OS connectivity issues that may involve capturing and analyzing traces, dumps, and logsCustomization, maintenance, and problem resolution for OEM or operating system network products and print solutions.  Provide 24x7x365 on-call support on a rotating basis and perform other on-call duties as requiredWilling to work initial 6 months in US day shift(5:30 PM to 2:30 AM IST) and post that working in 2 PM to 11 PM IST.What you bring:8 to 12 years of experience in IBM z/OS Communication Server VTAM,   TCPIP and related components, IBM z/OS Netview, LRS print services, CA TPX Session Manager, and other vendor productsUtilize and maintain tools such as Netview to monitor resourcesWork with Users, Clients, and Business Partners to provide connectivity or to resolve issues with the ability to provide communication on issues or complex information to a wide audience based on knowledge.Customization, configuration, maintenance and problem resolution for SNA and TCPIP configurationsGood experience in Pagent & Enterprise extenderAdded bonus if you have:Knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles, i.e., waterfall, iterative and other modern approaches to software developmentKnowledge of FIS' products and servicesKnowledge of the business goals, objectives and business operations for the appropriate FIS organizationWhat we offer you: A range of benefits designed to help support your lifestyle and wellbeing.A multi-faceted job with a broad spectrum of responsibilitiesA modern international work environment and a dedicated and innovative teamA broad range of professional education and personal development possibilities – FIS is your final career step.Privacy StatementFIS is committed to protecting the privacy and security of all personal information that we process in order to provide services to our clients.
