OB DESCRIPTIONJob Role: Engineer Planning ElectricalSECTION I: BASIC INFORMATION ABOUT THE JOB ROLEJob Role Variant: Engineering PlanningValue Stream: Asset OperationsJob Family: ManufacturingSECTION II: PURPOSE OF THE ROLEPlanning maintenance jobs at Plant in coordination with Central Planning, Reliability, Plant Maintenance and Process/OperationsSECTION III: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE ROLEResponsibilitiesPlan and schedule all maintenance jobs at Plant in coordination with Central Planning, Reliability, Plant Maintenance and Process/OperationsPlan and organise all resources (manpower, material, services, Pooled Assets etc.) for carrying out the jobsImplement Risk-based approach in routine maintenance planningDevelop and issue Daily & Weekly maintenance schedules in consultation with Process/Operations and manage backlogPrepare the REAM Annual Plan and Budget for Plant in coordination/consultation with Maintenance and other functionsMaintain multi-year plan for the PlantSynchronize PM/PdM, Changeover Schedules with the help of Central Planning, Process/Operations, Electrical and InstrumentationModify Plan and Schedule as necessary to accommodate Resource constraints and other Unplanned/Emergency jobsLiaise with Central Planning for alignment and synchronization of Central and Plant Maintenance planning jobsTrack and expedite implementation of Recommendations from RCA/Incident Investigation/APM/Audits etc.Review Daily LLF Reports/Maintenance and Process Log Books and identify new jobsCarry out Inventory Modelling and review/fix levels of plant-specific MRO Items on periodic basisMonitor stock of spares and other inventory on periodic basis and take needful actionsProvide inputs to Reliability Groups on Maintenance Strategy/Plans for its effectiveness in reliability improvement and optimisation of maintenanceImplement Work Order and related Management Process/Systems in CMMS and monitor usageMaintain current Job List in CMMS/Other Systems for Non-Shutdown, Opportunity Shutdown and Shutdown jobsGenerate and own the MIS/Reports/KPIs for Plant Maintenance and provide inputs to Central MaintenanceReview effectiveness of Maintenance Planning and Scheduling at Plant and provide inputs for improvementSupport Turnaround/Shutdown Planning by Central Maintenance and monitoring of execution Implement and own Master Data and Technical Object Management at PlantSkill & CompetenciesMaintenance Management including Business Processes and SystemsStrong Goal setting, Planning, Scheduling and organization skills including cross-functional understandingGood communication, reporting, inter-personal and networking skillsAnalytical thinking and skills for planning and decision making.Managerial, organizing and co-ordination skillsHSEF and REAM ProceduresUnderstanding of Risk Based Work SelectionSECTION IV: SUCCESS METRICSTime to resolutionOEE (Overall equipment effectiveness)Reduction in unplanned shutdownShutdown turn around time/ Mean time between failuresReduction in # of safety incidentsSECTION V: OPERATING NETWORKInternal:Human Resource, Administration, Workshop, Planning, Security, etc.External:Vendor, Equipment Manufacturers, etc.SECTION VI: KNOWLEDGE AND COMPETENCIESEducation QualificationsA Bachelor's degree in Engineering/ Technology (Electrical stream)ExperienceUp to 3-5 years of experience for degree in Electrical Stream with Power Plant experience
