As the company scale rapidly, they are building a strong leadership team to drive operational excellence, category expansion, and marketplace success. Position Overview:The Vice President – Operations will be a pivotal business leader responsible for driving overall operations strategy, P&L ownership, and multi-category growth. This role requires a seasoned leader with strong e-commerce expertise, cross-functional ownership, and a proven ability to manage large teams and complex business structures. You will oversee the seller org, buyer org, vendor management, and multiple operational stakeholders to ensure scalable and efficient growth.Key Responsibilities:P&L & Business OwnershipTake full ownership of the e-commerce P&L—revenue, costs, gross margin, and contribution margin.Develop and execute annual business plans and category-level strategies aligned with organizational goals.Identify new market opportunities, customer segments, and product strategies for sustainable growth.Category, Product & Marketplace StrategyLead all category-level decisions—including assortment, pricing, promotion strategy, catalog health, and inventory planning.Engage with marketplace stakeholders (Flipkart & others) to meet business targets.Collaborate with external consultants on strategic initiatives and execution roadmaps.Operational Excellence & Process Build-OutBuild scalable SOPs across supply chain, procurement, inventory management, fulfilment, and returns.Optimize product visibility, fulfilment, traffic, and conversions across marketplace platforms.Improve core e-commerce KPIs such as fill rate, buy-sell margin, brand support, and customer satisfaction.Cross-Functional LeadershipDrive collaboration across inventory, vendor relations, procurement, finance, logistics, and marketplace teams.Ensure smooth coordination between seller org, buyer org, vendor managers, finance, and supply chain stakeholders.Risk, Compliance & GovernanceIdentify and mitigate business risks across legal, operational, financial, and reputational categories.Ensure compliance with marketplace regulations, taxation norms, data protection policies, and brand guidelines.People LeadershipLead and mentor a growing team with strong focus on ownership, agility, and customer-first approach.Drive talent development, performance reviews, and succession planning for the e-commerce vertical.Analytics & Performance ManagementLeverage data analytics for insights into customer behaviour, category performance, and pricing impact.Drive continuous improvement using dashboards, KPIs, structured performance reviews, and business cadence.Required Qualifications:CA / MBA (preferably from Tier-1 institutes).CA candidates will be given preference.Work Experience:Minimum 15 years in senior leadership roles within e-commerce, digital retail, consumer tech, or related industries.Skills & Competencies:Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills.Entrepreneurial mindset with high ownership and execution focus.Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and vendor management capabilities.Robust network with brands, vendors, and marketplace ecosystem partners.Interested candidates kindly share your resume at riya@anthroplace or 9230998560
