Job OpportunityWe are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Senior Accountant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing complex tax returns, including form 1065-Partnership returns, 1120-C and 1120-S federal & state jurisdictions returns.Your duties will include detailing review simple and moderate returns of partnership, corporation and S-Corporation both federal and state jurisdiction.You will guarantee payments, concept and applications on the tax returns, identify potential adjustments due to tax law changes, and reflect on workpapers and returns.You will assist staff in addressing tax issues with proposed solutions, working independently or with little support from AM's and Managers.You will connect with US counterparts, keep track on assigned tasks, and have knowledge of efile validation and diagnostics of returns and connect Go support for efile diagnostics clearing.You will also identify and review potentials book to tax (Sch M-1) adjustments, deep dive into depreciation and gain/loss, analyze financial statements and seek relevant details.Your expertise should include advance level tax technical knowledge on state tax returns, applications, nexus and filing requirements, clear understanding of partners tax capital accounts, and ability to perform proper self-review of complex work before moving the task for review.You will document open items and share updates with reviewer and visa versa in completing tax returns within set deadlines.RequirementsMinimum 3+ years of post-qualification hands-on experience with U. S. accounting firm.Working towards Chartered Accountancy is preferred.Experience and knowledge of U. S. Tax Code is required.
