Data Governance Leadership RoleThe Data Governance Lead will spearhead enterprise-wide data governance initiatives across various business domains. This position focuses on establishing governing frameworks, facilitating workshops, and collaborating with technology teams to operationalize governance using specialized tools and platforms.Drive Data Governance: Design, implement, and institutionalize data governance frameworks, policies, and processes across business units.Facilitate Business Workshops: Conduct workshops with clients to define objectives, roles, and ownership models.Establish Governance Council: Assist in setting up and formalizing the Data Governance Council — document charters, roles, responsibilities, and governance operating models.Collaborate with Technical Teams: Work with data engineering, architecture, and security teams to implement controls using Microsoft Purview, Databricks Unity Catalog, and Informatica.Promote AI Governance: Implement and monitor AI governance principles ensuring compliance, ethical use, and adherence to organizational policies.Business Alignment: Understand diverse business domains — Real Estate, Retail, E-Commerce, Investment Holding, Hospitality & Entertainment, and Government Entities — to align governance frameworks with business priorities.Compliance & Security: Ensure all governance processes align with Microsoft Security and Compliance Frameworks, regulatory standards, and enterprise risk guidelines.Stakeholder Management: Partner with senior leaders, data owners, and IT teams to drive governance adoption and maturity.Key Responsibilities:* Develop and execute a comprehensive data governance strategy across multiple business domains* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data governance frameworks* Facilitate business workshops to define objectives and establish governance councils* Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to data governance* Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, data owners, and IT teams* Identify opportunities for process improvements and develop solutions to address gaps in data governance* Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data governance and apply knowledge to improve governance frameworks*Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field5+ years of experience in data governance, IT management, or related fieldExperience working with data governance frameworks, tools, and technologiesStrong understanding of data governance principles, regulations, and industry standardsExcellent communication, project management, and leadership skillsAble to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple prioritiesAble to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve goalsWhat We Offer:A dynamic and collaborative work environmentOngoing training and professional development opportunitiesA competitive salary and benefits packageThe opportunity to work with a talented team of professionalsAbout Us:We are a leading organization dedicated to providing innovative solutions and exceptional service to our clients.
