Job DescriptionAs a Cloud Data Engineer, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of our cloud-based data infrastructure.Key responsibilities include:Supporting ongoing platform activities and project efforts as needed.Triaging identified issues across account source platforms, integrations, and customer data hubs.Analyzing and triaging API messages for ongoing platform support.Performing CDH (customer data hub) initial data loads and data cleanup using Postman, Python, SQL, Big Query SQL, and Datadog.Extracting Google Big Query data to support data analysis activities.Partnering with IT platform experts to resolve data issues.Supporting user maintenance and setup activities.Ensuring robust data maintenance capabilities and business processes with the data stewardship team.Monitoring key performance indicators of the CDH solution to ensure data quality and established policies.Analyzing large datasets using tools like Python, SQL, and Excel.Required Skills and QualificationsTo succeed in this role, you should have:AWS certified experience in master data management applications, including data extract and load tools, user maintenance, data analysis, and basic system configuration.Experience with Google Big Query, Data Dog, Postman, and Tableau.Proficiency in delivering and supporting cloud-based solutions.Fundamental knowledge of REST API integration and JSON.Exposure to integrations technology such as Kafka, messaging buses, and integration brokers.Scripting languages, such as Java, JavaScript.Fundamental understanding of data governance and its benefits for a master data-based application.Ability to lead technical discussions with customers/business users.Strong team player with excellent oral and written communication skills.Agile methodologies such as Scrum, and ability to write well-structured user stories.Data lakes, ETL, and data analytics with solutions like Big Query and Tableau.BenefitsThis role offers:Opportunities to work on challenging projects and develop your skills.A collaborative and dynamic work environment.Professional growth and development opportunities.Other InformationWe are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all qualified candidates.
