Our relationships with Indian suppliers, combined with our world-class local facilities and global reach, continue to shape India's aerospace ecosystem.Role OverviewIn this role, you will:Define strategy and technology roadmap for the Cloud and Customer Solutions Cyber Security ProgramsProvide hands-on technical capability and embed with the CDO Cloud Architecture Team to deliver high value outcomes to the businessBe responsible for identifying IT solutions, build a cybersecurity design and assessment framework, implementing the framework, leading the assessments and evaluations of existing solutions, and leading the remediation of cyber security risks or vulnerabilitiesDocument secure architecture and design strategies and roadmaps for cloud and customer solutionsEnsure cyber security risks and vulnerabilities are logged, analyzed and vetted for accuracy within SLAsCreate and configure required cyber capabilities within the GE Digital Cloud Environment.Identify and deliver appropriate metrics to drive cloud and customer security solutions reporting framework based on business riskCollaborate with other GE Business Units to benchmark Cloud and Customer Solutions Cyber Security capabilities and processesLead strategic projects and initiatives with broad scope and high impact to the business and be a recognized expert in security architecture and designLead the implementation of cloud and customer solutions cyber security standards and policies to protect GE Transportation's information and business operationsLead the assessment of cloud and 3rd party hosted environmentsContinually evaluate new threats, solutions and the impact on IT and Business operations and balancing these needs to develop and implement the best security solutions for the businessRepresent GE Digital interests on GE-wide cloud and customer solutions cyber security initiativesQualifications/ Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or "STEM" Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with minimum of 4 years of experienceDesired Characteristics:Technical Expertise:Ability to consult customer on alignment of outcomes and desired technical solutions at an enterprise levelAbility to Analyze, design, and develop a software solution roadmap and implementation plan based upon a current vs. future state of the business.Working knowledge of configuration choices and related cost implications; Experience with complex solution configurations.Knowledgeable of full range of solution catalog within a business unit and able to discuss overall solution at depth.Experience sustaining operational stability through various life cycle phases (planning, implementation, steady state, de-commissioning); Ability to provision and budget via capital and operating.Able to lead early stage customer interactions; Guide customers as they develop confidence and comfort with approaches, and integrate with their legacy tech investments.Working knowledge of cloud technologies such as Amazon Web Services and Azure.Experience working with developers to understand their needs and translating that to infrastructure.Business Acumen:Adept at navigating the organizational matrix; understanding people's roles, can foresee obstacles, identify workarounds, leverage resources and rally teammates.Understand how internal and/or external business model works and facilitate active customer engagementAble to articulate the value of what is most important to the business/customer to achieve outcomesAble to produce functional area information in sufficient detail for cross-functional teams to utilize, using presentation and storytelling concepts.Possess extensive knowledge of full solution catalog within a business unit and proficiency in discussing each area at an advanced level.Six Sigma Green Belt Certification or equivalent quality certificationLeadership:Demonstrated working knowledge of internal organizationForesee obstacles, identify workarounds, leverage resources, rally teammates.Demonstrated ability to work with and/or lead blended teams, including 3rd party partners and customer personnel.Demonstrated Change Management /Acceleration capabilitiesStrong interpersonal skills, including creativity and curiosity with ability to effectively communicate and influence across all organizational levelsProven analytical and problem resolution skillsAbility to influence and build consensus with other Information Technology (IT) teams and leadershipDesirable Qualification Humble: respectful, receptive, agile, eager to learnTransparent: shares critical information, speaks with candor, contributes constructivelyFocused: quick learner, strategically prioritizes work, committed Leadership ability: strong communicator, decision-maker, collaborativeProblem solver: analytical-minded, challenges existing processes, critical thinkerAt GE Aerospace, we have a relentless dedication to the future of safe and more sustainable flight and believe in our talented people to make it happen.
