Fire Protection System Specialist

Fire Protection SpecialistThis is a unique opportunity to lead the installation and execution of fire protection systems at project sites, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety norms, and quality standards.The ideal candidate will have experience in supervising fire protection system installations, including sprinklers, hydrants, and pump room systems, as well as knowledge of NFPA/NBC/IS codes.Key Responsibilities:Supervise Installation Works: Oversee the installation of fire protection systems, including piping for sprinklers, hydrants, wet risers, hose reels, and fire pump systems.Read and Interpret Drawings: Read and interpret layout drawings, isometrics, and coordination drawings to execute works according to approved designs.Coordinate with Teams: Coordinate with MEP and civil teams to ensure proper routing and integration of fire protection systems.Conduct Checks: Conduct preliminary checks and assist engineers in hydrostatic pressure testing, flushing, and functional testing.Report Issues: Report issues, delays, or quality concerns to site engineers and ensure corrective actions are taken.Support Snag Rectification: Support snag rectification, inspections by consultants/clients, and preparation for handover.Required Skills and Qualifications:Engineering/Diploma: Minimum qualifications: Engineering/Diploma in Mechanical/Fire & Safety Engineering.English Language: Basic English; knowledge of local language preferred for field communication.Experience: Years of experience: 10–15 years.
