Someone who understands the complex world of corporate training, LMS platforms, competency frameworks, and the commercial realities of selling learning solutions to international organisations.You'll be the bridge between our AI technology and enterprise clients - translating business needs into learning strategies, designing programmes that align with regulatory frameworks (OFQUAL, NOS, apprenticeship standards), and ensuring our platform delivers genuine business value for clients across multiple countries.This isn't an operational training role. This is strategic L&D consultancy working with C-suite stakeholders, HR directors, and learning leaders at global enterprises to transform how they develop their workforce.What You'll DoClient Strategy & Consultation:Partner with enterprise clients (Centrica-scale: £2.8bn payroll, 26,000 employees)Conduct training needs analysis at organisational and departmental levelsDesign learning strategies aligned to business objectives and regulatory requirementsPresent to C-suite, HR leadership, and board-level stakeholdersNavigate complex stakeholder environments across multiple countriesLearning Programme Design:Map learning pathways to OFQUAL qualification frameworksAlign training to National Occupational Standards (NOS)Design apprenticeship programmes maximising levy funding utilisationCreate competency frameworks and skills matricesDevelop assessment strategies and evidence portfoliosLMS Integration & Deployment:Advise on LMS integration strategies (Workday Learning, Cornerstone, SAP SuccessFactors, etc.)Design xAPI/SCORM implementation approachesEnsure seamless integration with existing learning ecosystemsGuide learning record store (LRS) configurationAdvise on learning analytics and reporting frameworksCompliance & Standards:Ensure OFQUAL compliance for regulated qualificationsMap learning to apprenticeship standards and end-point assessmentsWork with awarding bodies and assessment organisationsUnderstand apprenticeship levy funding mechanismsNavigate UK, European, and international learning regulatory frameworksCommercial Partnership:Support sales process with learning expertiseScope and price learning solutions for enterprise clientsDevelop ROI models demonstrating business impactCreate case studies and success storiesContribute to thought leadership contentRequired Experience (10+ Years Minimum)You Must Have:10+ years in Learning & Development at enterprise scaleExtensive experience working with international/global organisationsDeep knowledge of major LMS platforms (at least 3 of: Workday Learning, Cornerstone OnDemand, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle Learning Cloud, Degreed, EdCast, Learning Pool, Fuse Universal, or similar)Proven track record designing learning programmes for organisations with 5,000+ employeesExperience with eLearning standards (SCORM, xAPI, AICC)Understanding of competency frameworks and skills taxonomiesFamiliarity with UK learning frameworks (OFQUAL, NOS, apprenticeship standards) OR equivalent international frameworksExperience presenting to C-suite and senior leadershipTrack record managing complex, multi-stakeholder programmesInternational Experience Critical: You've worked with:Multi-national corporations with operations across 3+ countriesCross-cultural learning design and deliveryInternational regulatory and compliance requirementsGlobal learning technology implementationsDiverse workforce populations and learning needsIdeally You Also Have:Experience with apprenticeship levy funding and UK apprenticeship standardsBackground in learning technology sales or consultancyUnderstanding of AI/ML applications in learningExperience with learning analytics and data-driven L&DCertifications (CIPD Level 5/7, ATD Master Trainer, or equivalent)Previous work with EdTech or learning platform vendorsConsulting or client-facing advisory experienceTechnical KnowledgeLMS & Learning Platforms:Enterprise LMS architecture and integration patternsSingle Sign-On (SSO) and authentication protocolsAPI integration for learning data exchangeLearning Record Store (LRS) implementationxAPI statement design and reportingLearning Standards & Frameworks:OFQUAL qualification frameworks (Levels 1-8)National Occupational Standards (NOS) structureApprenticeship standards and end-point assessmentsSFIA (Skills Framework for Information Age) or similarCompetency-based learning modelsCompliance & Quality:Awarding body requirements (Pearson, City & Guilds, CMI, etc.)End-point assessment organisation (EPAO) processesQuality assurance frameworks (Ofsted, ISO standards)GDPR and data protection in learningAccessibility standards (WCAG 2.1)What You're NotThis role isn't suitable if you:Primarily deliver training rather than design strategyHaven't worked with enterprise-scale international organisationsDon't have LMS integration experienceFocus on single-market/single-country learningLack experience with regulated qualifications or competency frameworksHaven't presented to senior leadership or board levelCome from small company or startup L&D backgrounds onlyThe Zavmo L&D ChallengeExample Client Scenario: A global energy company (£2.8bn payroll, 26,000 employees) pays £14m annually in UK apprenticeship levy but uses only 40%.
