Technical Transport ExpertiseWe are seeking a seasoned expert in telecom networks to join our team as a Technical Transport Subject Matter Expert. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting complex transport solutions for IP/MPLS networks.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with Sales and Solution Architects to design transport solutions for telecom customers.Develop detailed technical inputs, solution designs, and bill of materials (BOMs) for proposals.Participate in customer calls to explain architectures and answer technical queries.Support responses to requests for proposal (RFP) and request for information (RFI) with accurate design details and network requirements.Provide guidance to deployment teams during implementation and migration phases.Review high-level designs (HLDs) and low-level designs (LLDs) to ensure solutions align with telco standards, network policies, and customer expectations.Required Skills:Deep knowledge of IP/MPLS protocols, including L2/L3 VPNs, Segment Routing, QoS, and Traffic Engineering.Expertise in routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, LDP, RSVP-TE.Strong understanding of transport technologies like DWDM, OTN, Ethernet transport.Experience working with multi-vendor platforms such as Cisco ASR/ISR, Juniper MX/PTX, Nokia SR, Huawei NE.Preferred Certifications:CCNP/CCIE (SP), JNCIP/JNCIE, Nokia NRS II, MEF certifications.
