Headquartered in Hyderabad,Job OverviewAn executive-level position, the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) will be based in Hyderabad for our Group Company and work full-time to ensure the security and upholding of cyber policies. The CISO will lead efforts in maintaining cybersecurity integrity, focusing on developing and implementing strategies to mitigate risks, manage incident responses, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.Qualifications and SkillsDeveloping and implementing an organizations information security strategyProtecting sensitive data and digital assetsEnsuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards (e.g., ISO27001, GDPR, DPDP Act) ensuring adherence to data protection laws.Managing cybersecurity risks and incidentsOverseeing security policies, awareness training, and response plansProven experience in cybersecurity strategy development, demonstrating a strong ability to plan, execute, and maintain effective security frameworks.Expertise in incident response management to swiftly and effectively handle security breaches and mitigate potential damage.Strong background in risk assessment and management, ensuring the identification and mitigation of potential security threats.Proficiency in utilizing Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems to monitor and analyze security events across the network.In-depth knowledge of cloud security architecture to safeguard data and applications hosted on cloud infrastructure.Expertise in identity and access management (IAM), ensuring that access to information is adequately controlled and monitored.Strong skills in threat intelligence analysis to foresee and neutralize potential cyber threats efficiently.Roles and ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement a comprehensive information security strategy tailored to the company's specific needs and industry regulations.Lead the organizations incident response initiatives, coordinating effectively across departments to minimize impact and data loss.Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and implement mitigation strategies to safeguard company assets.Oversee the deployment and management of SIEM solutions to monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents in real-time.Design and implement cloud security architectures ensuring robust protection for data and systems in cloud environments.Manage the identity and access management program, ensuring secure authorization and access control mechanisms are in place.Ensure the company's compliance with cybersecurity regulations and standards, providing reports to executive management and regulatory bodies as needed.Provide strategic direction and leadership for the security team, fostering a culture of security awareness and continuous improvement.
