Oracle Database Administrator RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Database Administrator to join our team. As an Oracle DBA, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, performance tuning, backup/recovery, and troubleshooting of Oracle databases across various versions.Installation, configuration, performance tuning, backup/recovery, and troubleshooting of Oracle databases.Experience working in high-availability environments and strong skills in automation, security, and compliance required.Perform periodic maintenance/patching as required.Monitor database performance and perform proactive tuning.Manage backup and recovery using RMAN and Oracle Recovery Manager strategies.Define and implement best practices and automation initiatives.Lead database migration projects (on-prem to cloud/version upgrades).Required Skills and QualificationsProficient in RMAN backup and recovery strategies.Strong knowledge of Oracle Data Guard for high availability and disaster recovery.Hands-on experience in performance tuning and query optimization.Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) for monitoring and management.Experience with patching, upgrades, and database cloning.Solid understanding of Unix/Linux system administration related to Oracle.Proficiency in writing complex PL/SQL scripts and shell scripting for automation.Experience in handling large-scale database environments (multi-TB).Good communication skills with both technical and management teams.
