About This RoleWe are seeking a seasoned Software Engineering Expert to join our team. We are building a high-performing team to take on outdated banking solutions and disrupt the status quo.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering and design patterns, with experience in microservices and serverless architecture. They will be able to work autonomously yet collaboratively, be prepared to be bold yet consistent with their engineering principles, and have a logical, ethical, mature, and responsible approach.The role requires developing and maintaining mission-critical high-load production systems with a proven track record of supporting rapid and agile product deployments to different environments. The successful candidate will contribute to and evolve our technical architecture and engineering processes, participate in system design and architecture reviews, and improve observability using CloudWatch, X-Ray, and other monitoring tools.Required Skills and QualificationsTechnical Requirements:Minimum 5+ years of working experience in a technical hands-on software engineering roleDemonstrable experiences in developing mission-critical systemsStrong background in software engineering and design patternsExperience in microservices and serverless architectureFamiliarity with production-grade monitoring, logging, and alertingAbility to work with various databases to match query and storage requirementsBuild and maintain scalable REST APIs integrated with DynamoDB, S3, SNS/SQS, Step Functions, and LambdaExperience in cloud native architectureUnderstanding of data lake and data warehousingKnowledge in secured codingExperience in authentication standards and platformsExperience in AWS Cloud environmentBenefitsThe successful candidate will enjoy a challenging and rewarding role with opportunities for growth and development.
