Job Description: EXAPACS Administrator


Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented EXAPACS Administrator to join our IT team. The EXAPACS Administrator will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting the EXAPACS application, ensuring its smooth operation within the organization. This role requires technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills to provide effective support and ensure system optimization.


Key Responsibilities:

  • System Administration:
  • Manage, configure, and maintain the EXAPACS application to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Perform system updates, patches, and upgrades as needed.
  • Monitor system performance and resolve any issues or bottlenecks.
  • User Support:
  • Provide technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting application issues and addressing queries.
  • Create and manage user accounts, roles, and permissions within EXAPACS.
  • Conduct user training sessions and develop documentation to enhance system usage.
  • Data Management:
  • Manage and maintain data integrity within the EXAPACS application.
  • Conduct regular backups and ensure data recovery procedures are in place.
  • Implement security measures to safeguard sensitive data.
  • Integration and Customization:
  • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate EXAPACS with other systems and applications.
  • Customize workflows and reports to align with organizational requirements.
  • Compliance and Best Practices:
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards, security protocols, and compliance requirements.
  • Stay updated on the latest EXAPACS features and industry trends.
  • Problem Resolution:
  • Diagnose and resolve system issues in a timely manner.
  • Escalate complex technical problems to vendors or advanced support teams as necessary.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • Experience in system administration, preferably with EXAPACS or similar applications.
  • Hands-on experience in managing and troubleshooting application servers and databases.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in EXAPACS administration and related technologies.
  • Strong understanding of system integration, workflows, and automation.
  • Knowledge of data security protocols and backup procedures.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages and tools for automation is a plus.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in EXAPACS administration or equivalent.
  • Experience in managing PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) or similar healthcare IT systems.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards in healthcare IT (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).

Work Environment:

  • This role may require occasional after-hours support for system updates or troubleshooting.
  • Hybrid work setup with the option for remote work based on company policies.
