COO/President Operations (Bhagwati Group)

Bhagwati Group of Foundries, a leading Foundry Group in India is looking for a senior leader to head its multi-location Plants.

The Group has annual capacity of 40,000 MT per annum and is producing high duty grey iron and ductile iron castings as per International Standards for various OEM industries. (www.bhagwati.com)

Candidates from Ferrous/Non-ferrous foundries and other Engineering manufacturing companies can apply.

Responsibilities

1.   To provide strategic leadership in the area of operations to the Bhagwati Group Plants - BSL, BAL & Rinal Machining - by working with the top management to establish long-range goals, strategies, plans and policies.
2.   Responsible for growth and profitability of the Plants. Will be directly accountable to the Board of Directors for operations of these Plants.
3.   To direct the development of short- and long-range objectives, policies, budgets and operating plans for the Plants.
4.   To define the manufacturing strategies, expansion, modernization, Lean implementation, Safety compliances etc. to surpass profitability and efficiency of the Plants.
5.   To enhance individual capabilities & ensure second line development through established system and make the organizations future ready.
6.    To establish standardization across all plants and ensure horizontal deployment of best practices and standards across the plants.

Qualifications

B.E. / B. Tech, Post Graduate Degree in Business Administration or Operations / Strategic Operations / Metallurgy / Mechanical
Years of Experience: 25 years, Experience of Production in Ferrous/non Ferrous Foundry / Manufacturing , Multi locational plant experience a must with minimum 3000 to 5000 tons per month production in SG Iron & Cast Iron components. Additional machining experience is preferred.
