We are seeking a skilled and experienced Moodle (PHP) Developer to join our illustrious team of developers who are building innovative learning solutions for healthcare enterprises across the globe and delivering seamless experience to healthcare professionals. You should have a proven track record of designing, developing, customizing and maintaining enterprise level learning management features over Moodle technology stack.
The ideal candidate would be a hands-on coder on the full Moodle stack, with a passion for solving complex problems using innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
Moodle/PHP Development:
Develop and maintain scalable and secure Moodle features to deliver the desired functionalities.
Implement customized multi-tenancy architecture for our enterprise Moodle deployments.
Create RESTful APIs using strong knowledge of JSON structure for data transfer.
Setup and customize various Moodle plugins and components to meet requirements.
Database Development (MySQL):
Write complex and optimal database queries to power customizations like test creation, report generation etc.
Identify and address performance bottlenecks due to unoptimized queries and database parameters.
Third-party integrations:
Seamlessly integrate third-party softwares like HRMS, Diagnostic tools and communication softwares to expand Moodle platform capabilities.
Troubleshoot third-party integrations to resolve functional and performance issues.
Moodle Administration and Configurations:
Stay up-to-date with the latest Moodle features, trends and security practices.
Work collaboratively with Instructional Designers to transform learning concepts into Moodle friendly features.
Working knowledge of LMS administration and configuration of various features would be a plus.
Testing and Documentation:
Develop unit test cases and do comprehensive testing to develop robust features.
Write clean, well-documented and testable code following best practices.
Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.

Experience & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
Overall 5+ years of experience and minimum 4+ years experience in Moodle development and customization.
Proven track record of successfully developing full stack PHP based applications with strong hold of OOPs concepts.
Working knowledge of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, Javascript) and Wordpress development would be an advantage.
Excellent knowledge of MySQL database design principles and optimization techniques.
Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices would be a plus.
Excellent problem solving skills and ability to work independently.
Must have passion for continuous learning and innovation.
