Embark on a transformative journey as VP - Reporting & Analytics, where you'll spearhead the evolution of our Risk function you will join a new team within Global Operational Risk and Risk Oversight, this is an exciting opportunity to lead the Reporting Production Team for Operational Risk and Risk Oversight. which provides high-quality MI and reporting to (i) support colleagues across Operational Risk & Risk Oversight in their risk management oversight and review activities (ii) support senior management in risk management decision making, governance and oversight (iii) enable Barclays to meet its external and regulatory reporting commitments. You will work closely with the Reporting Change Team. Local leadership will be provided by the Operational Risk Transaction Cycle Lead in India and functional leadership will be provided by the Global Head of Transformation, Reporting and Analytics. Your key responsibilities will include providing leadership of the production reporting team, setting day to day direction for the team members, driving their development, ensuring integrity of all reporting through sound control and operational management and ensuring compliance with relevant Barclays frameworks, policies, and standards, and the BCBS239 principles. To be successful as a VP - Reporting & Analytics, you should have experience with: - Experience of leading and guiding production teams, coordinating and scheduling work to meet production targets and deadlines - Strong expertise in reporting tooling, including Tableau - A successful track record in leading, motivating and developing teams - A good understanding of risk management and control design and operation - The ability to continuously drive operational efficiency in production processes, meet quality standards and comply with all relevant policies, standards, procedures and regulations - Good organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail - Proven ability to communicate effectively and build relationships across a wide stakeholder base. - A proactive and professional approach to problem solving and decision making - Bachelor's Degree Some Other Highly Valued Skills May Include - A self-starter with good communications skills You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills. The location of the role is Noida. Purpose of the role To implement data quality process and procedures, ensuring that data is reliable and trustworthy, then extract actionable insights from it to help the organisation improve its operation, and optimise resources. Accountabilities - Investigation and analysis of data issues related to quality, lineage, controls, and authoritative source identification. - Execution of data cleansing and transformation tasks to prepare data for analysis. - Designing and building data pipelines to automate data movement and processing. - Development and application of advanced analytical techniques, including machine learning and AI, to solve complex business problems. - Documentation of data quality findings and recommendations for improvement. Vice President Expectations - To contribute or set strategy, drive requirements and make recommendations for change. Plan resources, budgets, and policies; manage and maintain policies/ processes; deliver continuous improvements and escalate breaches of policies/procedures.. - If managing a team, they define jobs and responsibilities, planning for the department's future needs and operations, counselling employees on performance and contributing to employee pay decisions/changes. In-depth analysis with interpretative thinking will be required to define problems and develop innovative solutions. - Adopt and include the outcomes of extensive research in problem solving processes. - Seek out, build and maintain trusting relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders in order to accomplish key business objectives, using influencing and negotiating skills to achieve outcomes.
