Job Title: Relationship Manager - Loan Against Property (LAP)Location: Chennai Job Type: Full-time Role Summary:We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven individual to manage and grow our Direct Selling Agent (DSA) channel for Loan Against Property (LAP) products. This role is crucial for expanding our secured lending footprint, and involves recruiting, training, and managing a network of DSAs to meet aggressive sales targets while ensuring adherence to all compliance and quality standards.Key Responsibilities:I. DSA Channel Management & Development:Recruitment & Onboarding: Identify, recruit, and empanel high-performing Direct Selling Agents (DSAs) and connectors focused on the LAP segment.Training & Mentoring: Conduct regular training sessions for DSAs on our LAP product features, policy changes, documentation requirements, and internal systems (CRM/LOS).Performance Management: Set clear monthly and quarterly targets for the DSA channel and monitor their performance daily. Implement incentive programs and performance reviews to maximize productivity.II. Business Acquisition & Relationship Building:Lead Sourcing: Drive high-quality lead generation for LAP (against residential and commercial property) through the DSA network.Market Intelligence: Track and analyze competitor products, interest rates, and market trends to provide timely feedback to the management team.Client Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for complex files, assisting DSAs and clients in navigating the loan sanction and disbursement process.Required Qualifications & Skills:Experience: Proven experience in financial services, specifically in managing a sales channel or being a high-performing relationship manager for Loan Against Property (LAP) or Home Loans.Product Knowledge: Deep understanding of the LAP product lifecycle, including property valuation (LTV), legal/technical checks, interest rate structures, and repayment plans.Channel Management: Demonstrated ability to recruit, motivate, and manage third-party sales channels (DSAs/Connectors).Communication & Negotiation: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to negotiate deals, manage difficult clients, and train a sales force effectively.Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of relevant lending guidelines and compliance requirements for secured loans.Education: Bachelor’s degree in any field.More information about this Relationship Manager JobPlease go through the below FAQs to get all answers related to the given Relationship Manager jobWhat are the job requirements to apply for this Relationship Manager job position?
