We are looking for an individual, who can: - design, develop, and improve the digital products and technology services we provide to our clients and employees - apply a broad range of software engineering practices, from analyzing user needs and developing new features to automated testing and deployment - ensure the quality, security, reliability, and compliance of our solutions by applying our digital principles and implementing both functional and non-functional requirements - build observability into our solutions, monitor production health, help to resolve incidents, and remediate the root cause of risks and issues - understand, represent, and advocate for client needs - share knowledge and expertise with colleagues, help with hiring, and contribute regularly to our engineering culture and internal communities. Your team In our agile operating model, crews are aligned to larger products and services fulfilling client needs and encompass multiple autonomous pods. You'll be working in the Save, protect and grow team in Pune, focusing on Advisory Portfolio Management business area. This area covers portfolio management, model management, trading and reconciliation. The team is located across the globe and manages a significant percentage of AUM for UBS. Your expertise - have excellent understanding of rdbms concepts, pl/sql, data modelling and data design. - hands on experience in query optimization - working knowledge of postgressql is a must - experienced in etl and elt processing via tools like azure data factory (adf) - good knowledge of azure environment, containerization concepts, cloud native development practices, azure wizard etc. - excellent understanding of devops and ci/cd concepts (gitlab, teamcity, automated testing, pipelines, ansible, rex, maven, intellij, sonar) - resilient team player with strong interpersonal skills taking initiative to drive things forward independently adopting principles - hands-on experience in gitlab-facilitated software delivery About Us UBS is the world's largest and the only truly global wealth manager.
