Overview Of The Role

KX is hiring a QA Support Engineer to ensure the quality and stability of our enterprise and AI-driven applications. This is a contract role where you'll collaborate with engineering and product teams to validate features, identify bugs, and contribute to continuous testing improvements that support real-time AI and financial analytics platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute manual and automated test cases
- Perform functional, regression, UI, and smoke testing across platforms
- Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA
- Collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolution of issues
- Contribute to release validation and continuous QA process improvements

Skills

- QA Methodologies: Strong understanding of test planning, execution, and defect lifecycle
- Automation Tools: Experience with Selenium, Postman, or similar frameworks
- CI/CD & Version Control: Familiarity with Git, pipelines, and Agile workflows
- API & UI Testing: Comfortable testing REST APIs and cross-platform interfaces
- AI/ML Awareness: Exposure to testing models, data-driven systems, or AI platforms
- Financial Services Domain: Experience validating applications for data integrity, compliance, and performance in BFSI settings
- Communication: Strong documentation and collaboration skills across QA and engineering

Essential Experience

- 3–6 years of hands-on experience in software QA or testing roles
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC and defect lifecycle
- Experience with tools like Selenium, Postman, or similar frameworks
- Proficiency in writing test cases, logging bugs and preparing QA reports
- Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
- Good communication and team collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience testing cloud-native or AI/ML platforms
- Exposure to Python/JavaScript automation scripting
- Knowledge of performance, security, or API testing tools
