Skills and Competencies

- Experience validating data transformations across modern data pipelines (Kafka, Databricks, MongoDB, REST APIs)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify anomalies and transformation issues in large datasets
- Proficiency in designing and executing validation strategies for data accuracy, completeness, and consistency
- Experience building and maintaining reusable test datasets for QA use cases
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, analysts, and product stakeholders
- Familiarity with scripting, dashboards, or alerts for proactive data quality monitoring

Education

[Graduation/PG in Technical or similar and related fields..]

Responsibilities

Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of data flowing through the data pipeline.

- Validate data transformations across the pipelinefrom Kafka event streams to processed data in Databricks and MongoDB, through APIs and UI
- Design and execute validation strategies that ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency
- Analyze large datasets to identify anomalies, data mismatches, and transformation issues
- Build, curate, and maintain test datasets to support multiple QA use cases and test environments
- Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to design test cases, validation rules, and data mapping documentation
- Develop scripts, dashboards, or alerts to proactively monitor data quality
- Participate in code reviews and provide input on schema design, transformation logic, and reliability strategies
- Document validation plans, data exception reports, and reliability metrics

Our Software Quality Assurance (QA) team is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of data across Moodys data pipeline.

We validate data transformations and maintain test datasets to support business-critical decisions and product experiences.
