EXP: 15+ Years | LOCATION: Bengaluru | MODE: Hybrid

JOB DESCRIPTION:

EsyCommerce is seeking a highly experienced Sitecore Architect with over 15 years of industry experience, including at least 5 years in Sitecore architecture. The ideal candidate will lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-level Sitecore applications, ensuring scalability, security, and performance. This role requires strong expertise in Sitecore 9/10, SXA, .NET, and containerized architectures, with hands-on experience in global enterprise environments. You will act as the single point of contact for Sitecore-related issues, collaborate with stakeholders including senior executives, and contribute to RFP creation and evaluation.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Lead the architecture and lifecycle of Sitecore applications, from design to deployment.
- Design, develop, test, and debug complex Sitecore solutions ensuring compliance with standards.
- Provide production support and resolve complex architectural issues.
- Plan and estimate development projects, reviewing and refactoring code as needed.
- Take ownership of technical design through to implementation.
- Maintain technical documentation throughout the SDLC process.
- Collaborate with globally distributed teams and manage senior executive stakeholders.
- Act as primary Sitecore contact, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Work on RFP creation and evaluation processes.
- Provide guidance on best practices in Sitecore CMS, content governance, and workflowmanagement

REQUIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE:

- Sitecore 10.x certified with expertise in SXA, Containers, SPE, Unicorn, TDS, GlassMapper, SIM, Sitecore Rocks.
- Strong ASP.NET/C# with MVC development experience.
- Proven track record in architecting Helix-based Sitecore applicatiion.
- Proficiency with automated deployments (Octopus or equivalent).
- Expert in Git, TFS, CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
- Deep understanding of web architecture: HTTPS, cookies, session management, cross-domain.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server, IIS, Windows Server.
- Skilled in JavaScript/jQuery, RESTful APIs, SOAP, AJAX, JSON, XML, HTML5, CSS.
- Experience managing domains on AWS/Azure.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

- Experience in multi-tenant Sitecore instances and responsive development.
- Experience in Drupal/Word Press migrations to Sitecore 10.x.
- Familiarity with other CMS platforms (Drupal, Typo3, WordPress).
- Exposure to NoSQL, Big Data, Data Science tools.
- Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility and optimization.
- Experience developing mobile applications and cross-platform customer experiences
