Key Responsibilities

- Lead research and development of water-based acrylic emulsions for diverse applications.
- Design and optimize polymerization processes for new product formulations.
- Spearhead synthesis and scale-up of polymers for paints, adhesives, and construction chemicals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to transition lab-scale innovations to commercial production.
- Conduct performance testing, benchmarking, and continuous improvement of product lines.
- Maintain documentation, IP records, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Key Competencies

- Deep expertise in water-based acrylic emulsion chemistry.
- Strong command over polymer synthesis, emulsion polymerization, and formulation science.
- Proven experience in scale-up from lab to pilot and commercial scale.
- Familiarity with application-specific requirements in paints, adhesives, and construction chemicals.
- Analytical mindset with hands-on experience in characterization techniques (e.g., DSC, TGA, FTIR, Rheology).
- Ability to work independently and mentor junior researchers.
