At Mace our purpose is to redefine the boundaries of ambition We believe in creating places that are responsible bringing transformative impact to our people communities and societies across the globe To learn more about or purpose culture and priorities visit our Within our consult business we harness our unique combination of leading-edge practical expertise and project delivery consultancy to unlock the potential in every project The project This is a mixed-use development including a commercial building service apartment and club in Mumbai Reporting to the project lead responsible for the management of all consultants and MEP contractors involved in this major scheme through design and delivery on-site to commissioning and handover Part of the management team in a client-facing project management consultancy role Our values shape the way we consult and define the people we want to join us on our journey they are Safety first - Going home safe and well Client focus - Deliver on our promise Integrity - Always do the right thing Create opportunity - for our people to excel Provides technical guidance and advice in relation to MEP services on projects to the agreed outcomes for time budget safety and quality requirements Supports the delivery of high-quality time-efficient and profitable delivery contributing to the compliance governance and assurance of the project Develops effective working relationships with a range of internal colleagues and stakeholders You ll be responsible for Undertake review finalization of shop drawings in coordination with MEP services consultants and project architect Ensure that the materials are checked for the quality and quantity respectively as per QC QA procedures control of the quality and technical correctness of the installation in accordance with the project quality assurance plan and specification by maintaining method statements regular checklist etc Conduct discussions with the MEP services contractors for adherence to schedules and thus monitor progress on the project through daily inspections Inspection of HVAC plumbing and fire-fighting equipment installations and fittings on a daily basis Manage complete testing of all equipment s and service across all areas of project-site Undertake the execution of MEP activities such as HVAC drainage water supply firefighting etc Develop and maintain the check list for MEP services Maintain the daily progress report of all the MEP services activities across various area Should have experience of working with PMC for commercial office building hotel building Responsible for planning and monitoring execution of plumbing firefighting HVAC elevators works at site Ensure all technical aspects of the projects are strictly complied with and in conformity with conditions of contract particular specifications general specifications contract drawings and BOQ Co-ordinate with consultant main contractor MEP contractors and other sub-contractors at site Attending regular meetings on work progress coordination design etc with consultant contractor main contractor to discuss key issues related to the project and take effective corrective actions Implementing testing commissioning plan for MEP system and final handing over of systems to facility team Ensure that the works are undertaken in a safe manner as per project specific safety plan You ll need to have Bachelor s degree in mechanical Experience in the relevant field Mace is an inclusive employer and welcomes interest from a diverse range of candidates Even if you feel you do not fulfil all of the criteria please apply as you may still be the best candidate for this role or another role within our organization
