Management Accountant

Company Description We re looking for a Management Accountant to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term basis covering for a colleague seconded to a Microsoft D365 implementation project This role is key to maintaining the integrity of our financial reporting and supporting business decision-making during a period of transformation If you re a proactive finance professional with strong analytical skills and a collaborative mindset we d love to hear from you Key responsibilities Prepare and analyse monthly quarterly and annual financial reports Develop and maintain budgets forecasts and financial models Perform variance analysis and investigate discrepancies Conduct cost analysis and recommend cost-saving measures Assist in the preparation of management accounts and KPI reports Collaborate with other departments to improve financial processes and systems Support the month-end and year-end closing processes Ensure compliance with accounting standards tax regulations and internal controls Contribute to process improvement initiatives and special projects as needed Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance or a related field Professional accounting qualification e g CA CMA Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in management accounting or a similar role Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles GAAP and International Financial Reporting Standards IFRS Proficiency in advanced Excel functions and financial modeling Experience with ERP systems e g SAP Oracle Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines Effective communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements Experience in budgeting forecasting and variance analysis Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Additional Information About Rotork Rotork is the market-leading global flow control and instrumentation company helping our customers manage the flow or liquids gases and powders across many industries worldwide Our purpose is Keeping the World Flowing for Future Generations For over sixty years the world has relied on us to create the things that keep everything moving From oil and gas to water and shipping pharmaceuticals and food- these are the flows on which our modern world depends Today we re respected and admired for our people performance and products Our success flows from our commitment to engineering excellence and that s what we will always pursue safely and sustainably Rotork is going through an exciting period of change and growth building on our existing market success It s a great time to join us and make an impact in shaping the future of our business
