Immediate Openings for Maintenance and Engineering manager for Virinchi Peoples Hospital, Hyderabad.

Job title: Manager

Department:Maintenance & Engineering

Reporting to: Head Maintenance & Engineering

Experience: 5-10 years

Note: Candidates experienced in Hospital filed are preferred.

Job Summary:To assist and coordinate functions related to civil/mechanical/electrical/water supply/sewage.

Job Responsibilities:

- Responsible for liaison with the government agencies such as State electricity Board / Pollution Control Board /Water Supply/GHMC and other Department related to maintenance activity.
- Responsible for overall maintenance functions;
- Monitor departmental activities;
- Ensure proper implementation of SOPs;
- Responsible for active participation in training programs;
- Responsible for coordination of developmental projects;
- Ensuring proper take over and handing over;
- Responsible for close supervision;
- responsible for proper maintenance work undertaken;
- Responsible for handling issues and report the same to the head of the department.

General responsibilities:

- Maintain punctuality in office timings, following dress code, good presentation
- Maintaining self-discipline, following the superior instructions, prior intimation while taking leave.
- Maintain good interpersonal relations with juniors and superiors and othe department colleagues.

Skills Required:

- Must have good domain knowledge. Should have good supervisory and communication skills.
- Must have good exposure to refrigeration systems and HVAC.
- Must have good exposure to automation systems.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems.
- Job demands good coordination skills to ensure proper implementation of plans on time.
- Should have good interpersonal and behavioral skills as they directly with other department heads, doctors, contractors and associates.
- Good scope for supervision to monitor construction as well as maintenance activities on a daily basis.
- Can take judgment within the framework of policies and procedures. Includes supervision, motivating and coordinating skills.
- Taking daily reading and updating the Diesel stock on daily basis, generating monthly energy reports (Energy consumption and diesel consumption).
- Maintaining all files and documents and keeps a records update
- Maintaining critical & regular Spares Inventory for Preventive / Breakdown maintenance.
- Working knowledge in domain side as well as good theoretical knowledge.
- Must have knowledge of organization in order to supervise the operation of the department.
