Position Description Business Division CSM Manufacturing Strategy Department Technical Services Location Jambusar Position Title Lead - LifeCycle Management Level Middle Management Reporting To Head Technical Services Position Purpose Lead - Life Cycle Management is responsible for managing and improving targeted Yield Quality and upgrading processes to reduce wastes solvents and utilities consumption Enabling Chemical Engineers to trouble shoot process problems efficiently to ensure targeted productivity and timely delivery of productsStrategic Responsibilities Help achieve entire STRIVE initiatives 2 5 of COGS Successful implementation introduction of the new technologies Operational Responsibilities Leadership of Life Cycle Management Department Provide vision and plan for continual improvements of existing processes - for higher Yields better quality higher productivity Recycling of solvents reducing effluents and improved EHS performance to achieve the STRIVE revenue targets Ensure that resources levels competencies skills and knowledge are in place to support achievements of Life Cycle Management targets across manufacturing sites Delivery of improvement projects to time Participate in Route cause analysis for solving the process related problems Help Chemical Engineers to trouble shoot process problems Ensure that department is using Industry Best Practice in delivery of targets Develop TOP SOP for improved processes Review of quality plan Approval of manufacturing SOP and process up gradations Performance tests of raw materials and report submission The incumbent is expected to be a self-starter and is expected to work with minimum supervision to drive projects to closure Financial Responsibilities People Responsibilities Managing multi-site teams Recognize reward excellent performers affirm key contributions of employees toward the achievement of goals objectives of the team Actively drive in conjunction with the Senior Management Team the performance management process of the team Facilitate initiatives for training need identification and building requisite skills competencies through systematic training skill-upgradation initiatives for the team Inspire motivate employees through demonstrated commitment to PI s values vision mission and active participation in various team engagement activities Education Qualification PhD in Organic ChemistryWork Experience 15 Years Experience in R D and process development of Agrochemicals Fine chemicals and their intermediatesIndustry to be Hired from Agro-Fine-ChemicalsFunctional Competencies Experience in managing R D or process development Strong technical knowledge to provide guidance to team of Site leads and Scientists Big picture thinker Understands the broader business drivers with ability to work collaborately with key functions areas such as R D Production QC QA and EHS Interaction Complexity and Team Work InteractionFrequency Purpose of Interaction Internal Head - TS Sr GM GM DGM-TS As required for the business Strive objectives Process trouble shooting Improvement projects new technology External Site head EHS head R D head QA QC head As required for the business Discuss business requirements resolve queries and escalations
